![]() I applaud Honda and its suppliers for reducing waste, but this task is unusually difficult. Try to get them at Costco if you can, you will save a lot of money. I cut my thumb on the passenger side wiper arm while sliding out the wiper assembly. I got these Goodyear wiper blades from Costco for about 7.99 each, they are also selling them on. It's not the dirtiest, but it isn't clean. This is without a doubt the hardest maintenance item I have performed so far on the car. Add to that the dexterity of keeping the metal reinforcements in the new blade while trying to get it in the assembly. The hardest thing is pulling back the rubber flap enough to allow the blade insert to be slide in or out. This is the end for sliding the blade tip in and out of the blade assembly. On one side of the blade is the "Lock" graphic. These things like to slide in an out of their slot without provocation so don't attempt to do this if you're already having a bad day. Replacement blades do not come with the metal reinforcements, so you'll have to transfer them to the new blade. Once you have done that, then removing the blade assemblies should be straight forward. You have to use a flat-head screwdriver wrapped in cloth to pry the cover out (as shown in the manual). Think of how your car's paint job would fare with flathead screwdrivers and metal pieces waving around.įollow the instructions in the manual, but note that squeezing the cover's tabs barely does anything. In this video you will learn how to install your Goodyear Integrity Wiper Blade onto a vehicle with a hook-type wiper arm. Bring some antiseptic and bandages and have some open space to work in once removing the blades. ![]()
